The Greb work hiker, by Kodiak, features recycled materials and possess safety features that meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards for work footwear. This hiker style has a waterproof black leather upper lined with a waterproof membrane. Strategically placed panels of 100-percent recycled polyester mesh on the vamp, tongue and collar reduce weight. The shoe laces also are made of a 100-percent recycled polyester. Affixed to the upper with cement construction is an EVA midsole with abrasion- and slip-resisting rubber outsole. A Comfortzone LITE footbed built with OrthotLite Hybrid compound supplies comfort. Housed within the round toe is a steel toe cap that meets ASTM 2413 and CSA Grade 1 requirements. This boot also is electrical hazard resisting and is puncture resisting with a steel plate underfoot.
