The Kenton, by KEEN Utility is a great choice for indoor work environments. This safety shoe is metal-free and non-mutilating, so it won't set off security detectors or scratch up against equipment. A breathable canvas upper is accented and reinforced with leather running up the eyelet area and affixed to the back. An abrasion mitigating coating is applied to the toe area to increase the longevity of the shoes. Housed within a rounded toe is a carbon fiber toe cap that meets ASTM F2413 safety standards for impact and compression and this shoe is static-dissipative to ASTM F2413 standards. A lightweight KEEN.reGEN midsole material absorbs impact, yet resists compression. And this Kenton has a flat, full gum rubber outsole that is slip-resisting to the ASTM F3445-21 slip standard for dry and wet tile and also tested to the Mark II standard. This outsole can also handle abrasion, oil and heat up to 572 degrees for 60 seconds. Additional features include an embedded nylon shank that supplies midfoot support and a removable PU footbed that cushions underfoot.
