The Iron Age Groundbreaker is a workhorse of a boot. Built to withstand natural elements and manmade challenges, this lace-up work boot with a puncture-resistant plate has the quality materials and construction you need to handle the job.
This 6 inch boot has a brown full-grain leather upper that resists scuffs and chemicals. Strong Kevlar® stitching holds up to wear and tear with proven Goodyear® welt construction, keeping the sole attached to the upper in extreme working conditions.
The Groundbreaker is loaded with safety features. This boot meets ASTM F2413 safety standards for impact, compression with a steel protective toe and non-metallic puncture-resistant midsole, protecting toes from accidental drops and rolling objects and the soles of feet from sharp objects. Also rated for electrical hazards, the Groundbreaker provides resistance to live circuits and wires.
A durable Vibram® rubber outsole provides slip resistance to slick and oily surfaces as well as resistance to chemicals, heat, metal chips and abrasion.
